From an early age I  have always had a passion for creativity. Whether it was music or art, I was always doing one or the other. After I graduated from high school I decided to pursue ministry and became a Worship Leader at several different churches in the Atlanta, GA area.

Hello! My name is Kaleb East.

My Love for Photography was Born

In 2015 I decided to buy a camera and join my church's  photography team. I began volunteering on Sunday mornings by capturing images of community and worship both on and off the stage. Through volunteering on the team, I was able to learn from other like minded photographers and get hands on experience which immensely helped craft my skills as a church photographer.

Over the past 4 years I've been able to partner with various churches including North Point Community Church, Browns Bridge Church, Gwinnett Church,  Athens Church, Influencers Church and Twelve Stone by capturing great quality images to be used for various social media platforms. I've also been able to partner with various ministries including InsideOut, Transit, The Living Room, Orange Leaders, FRVR FREE and Break Through Weekend Ministries.

I love capturing authentic and vulnerable moments in church where people's hearts connect with and encounter the grace and love of a Heavenly Father. I also love the creative avenue photography grants me. It's like setting off on a new voyage to find uncharted land! I am able to use my experience as a Worship Leader to leverage my storytelling through the images I capture. This is why I am so passionate about photography.

My Love For the Great Outdoors was Born

Around mid 2017 I began dabbling in landscape photography. I explored various trails which included Sawnee Mountain, Stone Mountain and Amicalola Falls in order to get out in nature and take pictures. To say the least, I quickly fell in love with the great outdoors.

At the beginning of 2018 I decided to make a personal goal to hike as many trails as I possibly could in order to get better at taking pictures of various landscapes. During the week I would watch Youtube videos from Thomas Heaton, Nigel Danson, Brendan Van Son and Peter McKinnon. Then, on the weekends I would take what I learned, go on a hike and practice while at the same time having fun just exploring a new place I'd never been to before. By the end of 2018 I had managed to rack up 76 hikes in four different states including Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina and Alabama.

My approach to landscape photography is simple: capture moments that display visual illustrations of God's word throughout the great outdoors. My hope is that through my images I can help connect people's hearts to Jesus Christ.
